Fudgy Almond Butter Brownies

Makes 9 servings

  • 3 tbs almond butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder*
  • 3/4 cup baking stevia (we use Truvia)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
* we use Hershey’s Special Dark unsweetened cocoa powder and we HIGHLY recommend it for this recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 9 baking dish with nonstick spray. In a small bowl, mix almond butter, egg, milk, and stevia until throghoughly combined. Add in your cocoa powder, salt and baking powder, and mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cut into 9 pieces and enjoy!
